Production Details
Mbrella Films provided production services for the entire length of filming in Thailand.
This includes finding accommodations, providing security and transport for the main talents as well as providing work permits, location permits and logistical support for the nearly 90 Korean Crew members that flew over to shoot in Thailand.
Mbrella Films also provided pre production support with finding and securing the locations, casting more than 300 Background and feature extras as well as providing art direction and production design for all locations.
This includes redecorating the main hero’s villa, creating a festival space on IconSiam’s Iconic waterfront and redecorating all of Ong Ang Canal.
Film Permits and Work Permits
Mbrella Films managed the complete film permit and work permit process for the Netflix series KING THE LAND, from application until approval. The first step was to translate the script into Thai language, along with accompanying notes for the Film Board. We then built out the full permit application, and submitted it to the Thai Film Office. The same day work permits after this at the labor office. We also covered the Film Board update across the entire production.
