Egypt offers a cashback production incentive of 30% for film productions. There are, however, limitations on its application. The incentive is made subject to the use of facilities within the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC), restricting filmmakers to specific areas rather than allowing them to shoot in any chosen location in the country.

Thailand offers a structured tax rebate system that rewards productions based on their spending levels:
- 15% for qualified spending from 50 million Thai Baht (~US$1.4M)

- 25% for qualified spending over 160 million Thai Baht (~US$4.3M)
- Additional bonuses of up to 16% for hiring local talent, promoting tourism, and conducting post-production in Thailand
